Colson Kelly (aka Machine Gun Kelly), is a rap artist with a distinct style. Baker was born into his English Scottish German family in Houston Texas U.S.A. in April 22 the 22nd of April, 1991. The first few years of his life, Baker traveled extensively with both his missionary parents. James Colson Baker was depressed and was unemployed when Sonia Alane, his mother was divorced from the Baker family at just Nine years old. Baker's dad moved along with his son to Denver and they lived at the home of his aunt. Others in the community were bullies Baker due to his indigence. The first time he heard Rap was in the sixth grade. Colson Kelly was born as Machine Gun Kelly on April 22nd, 1989 in Texas. His compositions are known as a blend of contemporary hip-hop and rock music with alternative rock. Baker was the author of four mixtapes from 2007 to the year 2010 prior to signing with Bad Boy Records. The Cleveland rapper who delivered lyrics at the pace of a bullet speeding through the air experienced an explosive growth when at the end of 2011, Baker switched from self-released mixtapes to established label. The fame of this Cleveland rapper rocketed when he released his first mixtape late in the year.
